Daniel Robert Larson (born November 15, 1998), also known as Danderson, is an American online internet personality (primarily on Tiktok), and is claimed by some to be one of the most prominent "lolcows".

Daniel is a singer/songwriter, and made attempts towards becoming a fashion model, actor, and has made some success becoming an internet celebrity on his social media accounts. He has gained a large following due to his intriguing, controversial, and often deranged content, which is said by many such as on his TikTok's. He has had multiple bans for nudity on live streams, and has "running" for President of the United States, had allegations of pedophilia, and his obsession and with various celebrities, particularly Grace VanderWaal. Due to the extreme nature of his content, Daniel Larson has a large following, particularly that of people seeking to troll him for amusement, which fuels his online escapades, as well a team of managers who have a variety of motivations behind following him, usually to either troll him or exploit him from money.

While there is no proof of him being officially diagnosed, the primary reason behind his behavior is theorized to Daniel having mental disorders, there is speculation of Daniel having Autism (ASD), ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, and Schizophrenia. At one point, it was claimed that there is media somewhere of Daniel taking Latuda, however it's not known what specific mental disorders Daniel may, or may not have.

Early life

Daniel Robert Larson was born on November 15, 1998, in Lancaster, California, to his parents Elisabeth Lee Shimer and James Travis Larson, and with a half-sister named Aurora from his father's side of the family. After his birth, his mother would give birth to two twins, who were his sisters, who passed away shortly after birth for from what was potentially Rh incompatibility. He was then moved to Colorado by his mother for unknown reasons, it possibly relating to Daniel's violent tendencies, with Daniel claiming he even killed a neighbor's dog.^{[Lost Media?]}

There is scant information regarding Daniel's early childhood, but he was wrought with neglect and tenuous claims of sexual abuse, which may have left him with childhood trauma which exacerbated his already chaotic behavior. Daniel, at about age 11, was taken away from Elisabeth by the State of Colorado due to being neglected, which Daniel and a later news report affirms. He was then put in various foster homes before his grandmother, Nancy Shimer, took legal guardianship of him. Despite her kinder treatment of Daniel, Nancy was known to be enabling of his bad habits, such as her giving him M&M's after painting on her walls rather than punishing him, according to Daniel's father.

Nancy would enroll Daniel in the Tennyson Center for Children, a center for rehabilitating and assisting children with intellectual disabilities due to Daniel facing troubles from his previous neglect. A 2012 news report on KWGN regarding Daniel's time at the Tennyson Center for Children states that he grew up in an extremely neglectful home.

At the Tennyson Center, Daniel met Bob Proctor. There is speculation that Daniel has multiple mental disabilities, as Daniel has displayed signs of disabilities such as Schizophrenia. Looking at Daniel Larson's facial features, such as a thin and flat upper lip and a small eye opening, which are signs of FASD, it is possible he has Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, meaning his mother likely consumed alcohol during her pregnancy. However, all of the claims are unconfirmed and still unknown to the current day.

Allegedly, In July 2019, Nancy passed away from cancer when Daniel was 19. Before her death, she sent Daniel to a state-run group home program for the disabled, where he remained for about two years before alternating between living with other individuals and living on the streets. Daniel's mental health began to deteriorate significantly due to a confluence of challenging circumstances. These circumstances include living on the streets, geographical isolation from family/friends, and limited access to mental healthcare.

Early internet career / trolling

In late 2019, Daniel would start using social media, creating the account @daniellars20 on TikTok, however, this account was hardly used. He then made the @daniellarsonfans account in early 2020, which quickly gained a large following due to comments made about Daniel's "odd looks" and "behavior". Daniel's first video to gain attention was called "Good night everyone," in which he stiltedly wished his fans good luck while his phone buzzes in the background.

Daniel would begin posting increasingly popular videos on his various TikTok pages in May of 2020, notably during the George Floyd protests/riots which he believed were led by his fans. His posts quickly drew the attention of trolls, who would become increasingly aggressive in their methods over time. What started off as simple annoyances, such as spamming comments, would soon turn into harassment as some trolls would go as far as to call Daniel's cell phone. However, a few trolls in particular would take advantage of Daniel's gullible nature in order to manipulate him. In early 2020, signs of Daniel being manipulated by managers became quite apparent in his TikTok posts. One such video is of him claiming to be a model for "Southwest Models and Talent Agency."

Flexburger would become Daniel's first of many managers in early 2021. Flexburger obtained this role by impersonating an executive of a record label.

Daniel would start to post some of his most well-known videos around this time, such as the infamous "Jumping Jacks for George Floyd" video and his announcement for his Presidential Campaign. Infamous posts such as these caused Daniel to accumulate over one million followers on TikTok, prompting the creation of r/Daniellarson in October 2020. Daniel also started live streaming on TikTok live and host zoom meetings with his managers, who would get him to post a music video called "Fake News."

Due to his virality, Daniel began posting multiple videos daily of him doing incredibly monotonous things like eating food, as well as various videos of his Zoom meetings.

Pinterest Leak

On November 20, 2020, a Pinterest account belonging to Daniel was leaked by Flexburger. This leak would be one of many instances which showed Daniel's alleged pedophilia. The account had albums filled with images of children, maps of the United States which listed the age of consent for each state, and photos of his various underage celebrity crushes. Daniel posted his first apology/confession hours later, in which he admitted that he had used the, "...pictures of girls and masturbate[d] to them... a long time ago." He would then delete the Pinterest account and immediately go back on his apology, claiming that the account wasn't his and that, "...the media blew up the Pinterest situation out of proportion." .

The leaking of his Pinterest account made Daniel go into full lockdown. He not only disabled comments, but he also deleted or set to private several of his videos, especially ones about Grace VanderWaal. He even went as far as to disable his TikTok account, but only temporarily.

Following this brief period of heightened paranoia, Daniel's posts would return to normal. However, the leaking of his Pinterest account made certain actions of his particularly alarming, such as the instances of him duetting very young girls on TikTok. Yet despite his usual posts returning, he entered a feud with (trolls impersonating) The Diligent Broadcast and Roach Records. In posts regarding the feud, he threatened to sue them for ganging up on him and faking the Pinterest account. Following many subsequent schizo-posts, Daniel would take a break from TikTok beginning on December 20, 2020, and lasting all the way up to March 2021.

2021

After returning to social media in March 2021, Daniel immediately declared war on Flexburger after discovering that he had been the one who leaked his Pinterest account. In response to this, Flexburger manipulated Daniel into flashing his penis on TikTok live in front of 500 people, thus resulting in an immediate and permanent ban from TikTok. in order to circumnavigate the ban, Daniel created many different alternate accounts, however, these too would often get banned. Daniel moved to YouTube and Likee, however he did not give up on his TikTok career.

Flexburger was already an enemy of r/Daniellarson. Eventually, Flexburger was doxxed and ceased communications with Daniel.

After returning to TikTok later that year, Daniel posted mostly about Grace VanderWaal. He released Roaring Thunder on July 15, which became his most well-known song. It was around this time that The Fog started appearing in his videos.

The Fog

This instance of the fog was posted in July of 2021 on one of Daniel's previous TikTok accounts, @daniellarsonishere.

Daniel embarked on his first distinct "arc," known as the Fog arc. Following the instructions of his management, he covered his camera with tape, resulting in a hazy, fog-like visual effect over his recordings for several months. During this period, he shared various videos featuring this unique visual style. One of the most memorable videos he posted was on TikTok, in which he said, "Rest in Peace George Floyd, the police should be terminated." In addition to these more serious videos, Daniel continued schizoposting, with videos such as him rubbing his nipples to Darci Lynne and Grace VanderWaal, and apologizing to "Penus Ajun Grill," and a three-minute altercation with his caretaker, Jonas.

These 'Fog' videos gained significant attention on social media, coinciding with the peak of "the Fog" meme. This meme warned viewers of an ominous, Lovecraftian fog. Many comments on Daniel's videos referenced this meme, with phrases such as "The fog is coming." It's probable that Daniel didn't fully grasp the meaning behind these comments.

California Sidetrack

Daniel took the midnight train to California on August 20, 2021, in a failed attempt to meet his father, Travis Larson, who in fact was a troll impersonating him. As a result of his unannounced departure, Daniel was dropped from his disability program, thus leaving him almost entirely dependent upon Bob and the kindness of strangers. Some highlights of Daniel's brief stay in California include threatening Grace VanderWaal's boyfriend, shaving himself a mohawk, and accidentally ending up in Emeryville instead of Los Angeles.

Soon after, his case manager Samantha relocated him back to Colorado Springs.

Colorado

Daniel would go silent for a week after his TikTok account @daniellarsoninsocal (registered to document his time in California) was banned. Upon his return, Daniel declared his hatred for the police and made a video of him twerking while mouthing off about how bad they are. In another video in which Daniel is visibly inebriated, he exclaimed that he, "...wants there to be riots."

In November of 2021, Goldberg Shacklestein was first mentioned by Daniel. Goldberg was actually Samantha, one of Daniel's managers, incognito. According to Daniel, Shacklestein was the supposed leader of the New York mafia.

One video was posted around that same time in which Daniel, Jonas, and Gavin had a verbal altercation. This video was the first of many such posts.^{[Citation Needed]} Around late 2021 to early 2022, it became quite common for Daniel to interact with trolls posing as either Grace VanderWaal or Jojo Siwa. Oftentimes these trolls weens had such an influence on Daniel that he would fulfill requests on their behalf, even if the requests were degrading or incriminating.

2022

Unhinged Arc

Cutting ties with his case manager meant that Daniel had lost his last professional source of mental healthcare, which caused him to further succumb to the influences of his management and manipulators. 2022 had a rough start for Daniel; he would record videos of him humping his camera for Grace and take out his anger on inanimate objects when he was upset. His behavior was so bad that his then-manager, Bianka, quit for fear of mistreatment.

Things only went downhill from there, as he posted videos of him crying in bathrooms, punching himself in the genitals, and ranting endlessly about Grace VanderWaal. On May 13, Daniel went viral for the Porch Charging Incident. The conflict started when the owner of the property that Daniel was trespassing on asked him to leave, to which Daniel responded by calling the man racial slurs.

Daniel's unhinged posting seemed to end when he ran the Denver Colfax Marathon. He stopped posting anything of interest until June, in which his unhinged posting would begin yet again.

Unhinged Arc 2

Daniel, after getting arrested for criminal mischief, got into a conflict with his case manager Andrew, and as a result, would start to blame him for anything and everything that went wrong in Daniel's life. He began to have a large amount of micro-meltdowns over him where he, as usual, hit himself and said slurs, claiming that Andrew stole money, damaged his career, and leaked a photo of him jerking off completely nude in a public bathroom.

Daniel, after the end of the Andrew conflict, started showing up to Roe v. Wade protests. On the 27th of June, he would attend an open mic where he told his life story, how he exposed himself on TikTok, his obsession with Grace VanderWaal, and that his grandmother died of cancer because of his autism. This incident would get his name out to many Roe v. Wade protestors and people online, resulting in him getting recognized by multiple people at another Roe v. Wade reversal protest.

Briiink would make his first appearance 2 days later on a livestream. Briiink would run into Daniel his charging his phone, where he got an autograph and paid Daniel money. It's also around this time that Quacko started to manipulate Daniel.

The day after this, Daniel would re-enter his dispute with Andrew, as well as start to post about his impending court case for criminal mischief, where he begged for thousands of dollars for "court," not specifying why exactly he needed it. Andrew would generously handle this for Daniel and open a bank account for Daniel, and Daniel would repay him by claiming that Andrew stole "$3,000 a month that's coming into my name."

At the end of June, a ton of events would happen: Bob would re-enter the limelight after telling Daniel that he could not finance Daniel's music career, Daniel would get kicked out of a school for trespassing, made a new TikTok account, Daniel would premier his song "Something More," would expose the fact that r/Daniellarson2 made a Discord where they manipulated him and Daniel would do a Q/A on r/Daniellarson 2.

Daniel kicked off July with yet another meltdown, this time over Quacko telling him to delay his release of "Something More," which Daniel would release that day. He would then go around town getting banned from multiple restaurants and a hotel. He would then enter a feud with a TikTokker named Kanye556 after Daniel defended his use of the n-word by saying it was okay because he said it with an "a" instead of an "er." He would then claim he entered a coma after this due to heatstroke, continuing his schizo-posting after this with seemingly no issues at all.

Return of the Headset

After an interview with Monkeyman56783, he would fire his case manager, Andrew. You would expect after this he would instantly go off the deep end, but he actually started a Twitch where he made enough money to get a hotel, an AirBnB, and a $400 pair of headphones. He would also start hanging out with Briiink more, where Briiink, despite knowing that Daniel is a pedophile, would buy him meals, went bowling, and went to Hooters with Daniel.

Then the Toothbrush Incident happened, where a video of him shoving a toothbrush up his rear end and then brushing his teeth with it would be leaked on the Daniellarson subreddit. Daniel would smash his headset on the side of the road as a result (which would actually be found), starting the July 2022 Electronic Destruction Spree. He then bought a replacement Spiderman-branded headset meant for children, which would also be smashed later. Continuing this, he would then smash his phone, which he would replace with a tablet that he would drop and break in the video explaining that he smashed his phone.

On July 25th, Grace's mom, Tina, would message him on Facebook Messenger:

"Stop saying my daughters name. Stop saying you are in a relationship with her. You are scaring her and our family. Everything you have said and done has been in your own mind. You need to access some mental health support and stop harassing my daughter. I have contacted the authorities and will continue to press the issue of [sic] you don't stop making disturbing videos. You [sic] followers have harassed my daughter long enough. STOP"

She would then later comment on one of his posts:

"God Daniel….. do you think I’m watching your lives? whoever just contacted you claiming to be me was not me. I have no idea who Ox even is. I don’t want you to talk about Grace or our family anymore. I have only replied to you once when you DM’d me a couple of weeks ago - then I told you to stop saying Grace’s name but clearly you refuse to listen. Stop all of this. Everyone [who is] communicating with you are trolls trying to get you to do crazy things. Please STOP."

He would then ask her if she minded that he asked her a question, to which she responded:

"I do mind. Stop everything to do with our family ESPECIALLY my daughter. You are making me reply publicly so you can’t censor what I’m actually saying to you. I’ve spoken to DDRC as well as the Denver police and Denver FBI. Do you really want to continue this? Again, just stop. Your reality is not real."

Daniel, after a break in posting, would reveal his new manager and enabler, Ox. After firing him almost immediately, Ox, for a change, would actually positively influence Daniel; he would get Daniel an ID, and made Daniel apologize for saying the N-word. He would then stop this string of good influence by convincing Daniel that there was a nuclear attack on livestream for money, which would get Ox fired and reported to the police, and Daniel's Twitch account banned.

Trench Foot Arc

Daniel would be hospitalized for trench foot at the beginning of August 2022.

Los Angeles Arc

On December 10, Daniel had a meltdown that escalated into a physical altercation with Bob. This resulted in Daniel being immediately flown out of Denver by Bob. Daniel became homeless in Los Angeles, California.

2023

The Los Angeles arc would continue through early 2023.

Travel Arc

Daniel would leave Los Angeles in February 2023, and begin to travel across America via bus.

Las Vegas Saga

Daniel arrived in Las Vegas on February 13, 2023. He would go on to be kicked out of multiple Vegas casinos, as the security there was unsurprisingly much more competent than in other cities. Contact would be lost with Daniel just a few days after his arrival, on February 16. He would not post for a few days; however, fans would spot him walking in the streets of Las Vegas anyway. On February 23, Daniel would make a sudden return to TikTok, detailing an incident where he was assaulted by "fans" and had his phone taken during the altercation, resulting in a fractured skull. He also stated he was receiving support and accommodation from a sober living home based in Nevada. Daniel was kicked from the "Sober Homies" and later issued an oddly phrased threat involving fireworks inside a casino, leading to his TikTok ban. His antics would continue until another hiatus from March 2 to 15, when he reappeared, asserting that he had spent time in a mental hospital in Vegas. Departing Las Vegas on March 17, Daniel headed to Phoenix.

Arizona Saga

Daniel's travels led him from Las Vegas to Phoenix, Arizona on March 18, where he documented his journey through videos and interactions with fans. After mentioning discontinuing medication (Latuda), he sought donations and mentioned plans to head to Tucson. Upon arriving in Tucson, the following day, he detailed financial struggles, seeking funds from viewers to travel further. His time there included interactions with strangers who seemingly supported him, offering gifts and even purchasing items for him, as documented in various selfies and videos. He engaged with many fans, danced with a group of younger men, and acknowledged receiving free meals from a fan.

On March 21st, Daniel posted a video walking along a road in Arizona, withholding the town's name for safety reasons. He revealed canceling his planned trip to El Paso due to receiving death threats, expressing the need for security before visiting. Although he didn't disclose the town's name in the video, users on the /r/DanielLarson subreddit identified it as Benson, Arizona, approximately 50 miles southeast of Tucson.

Texas Saga

Daniel arrived to El Paso, Texas, on March 22. His intended destination was actually Roswell, New Mexico, but he got on the wrong bus. Daniel would be confronted by the police for dine and dashing, though he somehow paid the tab.

Daniel's March 24 arrival in Big Spring, Texas, sparked a whirlwind of bizarre events. Initially losing and then miraculously finding his debit card, he delved into a series of erratic videos, claiming emergencies involving trolls, alleged stalkers, and fabricated scenarios involving Grace Vanderwaal and a supposed assailant named Ivan. He shifted between claims of receiving cease and desist letters from record labels, being fired, and encountering alleged stalkers in white and black pickup trucks. His videos documented his escalating paranoia, including encounters at Walmart and a gas station, where he believed he was being followed and threatened. Daniel's live streams on TikTok showcased his erratic behavior and unfounded safety concerns, culminating in police encounters and calls, a breakdown triggered by alleged comments from Tina Vanderwaal, and claims of evading an assassin in a white pickup truck, eventually prompting him to leave Big Spring, supposedly accompanied by hospitalization after receiving threatening messages.

Daniel's journey continued with tumultuous encounters in various Texan cities. In Sweetwater, he arrived and promptly encountered distress over a perceived security threat, leading to attempts by followers to have him removed from the Greyhound station to no avail. Despite accepting odd jobs for cash (surprisingly) and claiming collaborations with Playboi Carti in Atlanta, he left for San Antonio where his presence caused disturbances leading to his eviction from a Greyhound station, followed by a similar pattern in Houston. His erratic behavior and claims of threats resulted in confrontations with businesses and the police, culminating in confrontations, refusals to pay for meals, and even being kicked out of a Dave and Busters. Daniel's live streams were plagued by harassment, including disturbing phone calls and alleged stalking, prompting him to seek police intervention multiple times and, ultimately, to flee Houston.

New York Saga

Daniel's turbulent journey continued as he traveled to New York City with the help of new managers, aiming to meet Tina and Grace VanderWaal for an investigation and personal reasons. However, his arrival was marked by alleged death threats, security concerns, and a fan-driven transportation from the airport to Jersey City.

Daniel faced multiple sightings and doxxing throughout New York, encountering both supportive fans and confrontations, leading to the Bodega Incident, where he was harassed and later checked into a hospital for a black eye and concussion. His interactions with fans included generous gestures such as meals, gifts, and paid accommodations.

Amidst the chaos, Daniel engaged in online hostilities with Michael Quinn and World Of T-Shirts (Joshua Block). Daniel would also post a couple of anti-Semitic TikTok videos, including references to Adolf Hitler, likely because Joshua Block was Jewish, claiming that "it explained a lot." His time in New York and New Jersey included a visit to the American Dream Mall, eviction from the mall by troopers, and a hospital visit for Trench Foot.

On May 8, Daniel met with Michael Quinn over lunch, and on May 10, he finally met with World Of T-Shirts. In the following days, Daniel would proceed to get a citation for trespassing, as well as having a meltdown from missing his bus to Orlando. He was also fooled into thinking that Justin Bieber had paid for a trip to Disney World.

Cameo Arc

The Travel Arc would finally end as Daniel left New York, returning to Denver on May 20. On May 25, the infamous "Haagen-Dazs Incident" would occur, where Daniel would be kicked out of said ice cream shop due to an altercation with employees, as well as a meltdown following shortly after. On May 31, Daniel created a Cameo account, initially charging $30 for custom videos. Over the following month, he adjusted the prices, at times reaching over $1000. Daniel eventually realized the need for lower prices to boost accessibility and increase sales, settling on $10. However, the prices continued to fluctuate, occasionally going back up to $100. Despite the high prices, Daniel failed to consistently fulfill the actual requests made by paying customers, sometimes outright ignoring them while thanking them for their money. This led to a decline in his review score, ultimately resulting in his ban from Cameo on August 16.

Dog Arc / Incident

On July 9, 2023, Daniel Larson adopted a German Shepherd mix named Zola (naming her Music) from the Longmont Humane Society in Longmont, Colorado, intending her as a "guard dog." Given Daniel is obviously unfit to take care of an animal, the community immediately showed genuine concern. It was revealed that the shelter hadn't conducted a background check on Daniel, leading to outrage as his online history and subsequent harassment faced by the shelter came to light. Despite calls to return Music to the shelter and worries about her well-being, Daniel continued posting videos with her. The community intensified efforts, leading the Longmont Humane Society to take steps to remove Music from Daniel's care. Concerns for the dog's safety grew due to Daniel's erratic behavior, evading authorities, and distressing videos of Music. A collective community effort successfully located Daniel and Music, which culminated in a user named "Ween" rescuing Music and returning her to Longmont on July 11.

The situation escalated dramatically after Music was taken from Daniel. He reacted intensely, leading to destructive behavior at a Walmart and subsequent actions that resulted in a psychiatric hold. Daniel's response included making videos and live streams where he claimed to have contacted emergency services and creating bomb threats, ultimately leading to his admission to a mental health facility. After a period of psychiatric evaluation and treatment, Daniel was released from the mental health ward on July 19.

Homeless Arc '23

Daniel would face financial instability after being suspended from Cameo, which led to him returning to the streets. On August 29, following trolling and threats directed at him by a fake Grace VanderWaal, Daniel responded with alarming behavior. He posted bomb and death threats towards various individuals and entities, including Grace, Beyoncé, Columbia Records, and even the US government. This would all culminate into a live stream where he would aggressively punch himself, slam his head against a wall and the ground, all while deploying the Tactical Slur against Grace. Following this, just two days later another incident would occur on August 31. The incident involved a physical altercation between Daniel and Bob Proctor inside Bob's car. The argument started over Bob's request for Daniel to stop using his phone while with him, leading to escalating tensions. Daniel filmed the encounter, citing personal safety as his reason. Bob demanded Daniel put away the phone, but Daniel refused, leading to a confrontation where Bob yelled at Daniel to leave the car. When Daniel refused, the situation escalated further, resulting in a physical altercation, with Daniel claiming Bob ran him over while Bob demanded Daniel get out of the car. Daniel would post a video showing aggressiveness toward Bob, followed by a meltdown at a motel where he punched walls and expressed fear of Bob, alleging Bob's actions violated his rights.

College Arc

On September 10th, 2023, Daniel Larson announced on YouTube that he planned to enroll in college, specifically stating that he would be attending CU Boulder in 2024. Subsequent community posts and a livestream followed, where Daniel discussed his enrollment process and shared details about his intended major and minor subjects.

The context behind this decision involved Daniel's interactions with members of Phi Kappa Tau, a fraternity of CU Boulder students, who convinced him that he was a student. Videos of Daniel at a frat party, including ones where he promoted the fraternity, were posted on his TikTok and YouTube channel.

While "attending" CU Boulder, Daniel claimed that he needed to leave for Golden, Colorado, citing a court appearance.

Arrest

Daniel was arrested for third-degree assault towards a security guard on September 16, 2023, but in a complete failure of the American justice system, he was somehow released from jail just two days later. The bodycam footage was released on September 21, 2023. Daniel was subsequently arrested again on October 3, for failing to appear in court.

On October 23, 2023, some "fans" would give Daniel a haircut. However, these were actually trolls who partially cut Daniel's hair in what was immediately dubbed a "Reverse Mohawk" and abandoned him before finishing the haircut as they claimed their car had been stolen. This left Daniel looking more unstable than ever, with the unfortunate coincidence that he had a court date the following week. Unsurprisingly, Daniel did not fix his hair, and on October 31, Daniel would receive a six-month probation in court.

Still with the reverse mohawk, Daniel would have a meltdown inside a Panera Bread on November 10, seemingly because his fans were "leaking his location" leading to him aggressively punching himself as well as exclaiming self-harm threats, racial slurs, and psychotic screams.

On November 30, Daniel would go back to court and be sentenced to 12-month probation, 48 hours of community service, be fined, and be subject to anger management classes from the Boulder CU arrest.

The Reverse Mohawk arc would end once Daniel's hair grew back out. In early December 2023, there would be severe community backlash towards new management, as there was a noticeable lack of trolling. However Daniel would continue his usual antics and get himself ejected from various establishments around Colorado, and continuing to have meltdowns.

Personal life and family

Despite Daniel's frequent online postings, significant aspects of his personal life and thoughts remain obscure. This lack of clarity arises partly from the complexity and vagueness of the topics he engages with, compounded by his own inconsistent and incoherent thought processes. Additionally, Daniel often shows indifference towards matters that do not directly impact or immediately satisfy him.

His family life is tumultuous. His father was absent and his mother was neglectful to the point that Daniel was removed from her custody. It should be noted that Daniel's mother had lupus and may have been physically incapable of caring for Daniel. His grandmother, while being the most qualified to care for Daniel, was not capable of providing the proper care for somebody with as many mental disabilities as he had. His two stepsisters are unknown, and his two biological siblings passed away almost immediately after birth. He has had numerous caretakers, either voluntarily or assigned by the state. Following his grandmother's death in 2019, Bob Proctor has been Daniel's on-again off-again caretaker.

Daniel is mentally ill and is afflicted with “a laundry list of mental illnesses,” according to his father. Daniel's physical health isn’t much better either, as he always seems to be falling apart at the seams. Daniel is known to have been diagnosed with scabies, trench foot, hypodontia, autism, ADHD, and possibly has bipolar disorder and/or schizophrenia.

Finances

Due to his mental issues, Daniel has struggled to properly manage his money.

Daniel is often homeless, and lives off of the charity of others. Despite that, he has gone to Disneyland, paid thousands of dollars in legal fees (either through fines or court/bond fees), and destroyed over one thousand dollars of electronics in a spree.

Daniel also displays the symptoms of gambling addiction.^{[Citation Needed]}

Infamy and social media

Daniel calls himself “famous” and a celebrity, displaying a clear delusion of grandeur. Despite considering himself to be a world-famous, instantly recognizable music star, to the likes of Michael Jackson or Taylor Swift, Daniel is not a mainstream celebrity by any means; he is more properly described as a lolcow, niche internet celebrity, local menace to society, or even a nobody, depending on who you ask. His delusion is only fueled by fans who recognize and sometimes even meet up with him in public. On some occasions Daniel has even stated that he will be charging fans to take pictures, and genuinely gets angry when they do not comply.

Daniel has and has had many social media accounts, mainly on TikTok, YouTube, Twitter as well as Instagram, Twitch, Reddit, Pinterest, Quora, and Likee.

Daniel claimed to be running for President of the United States in early 2020. Weens and followers of Daniel often refer to him as "Mr. President," in reference to his failed presidential bid.

Controversies

Daniel has a history of violent, repulsive and generally controversial actions. Here is a non-exhaustive list of things he receives criticism for:

Pedophilia

Daniel, on multiple occasions, has been accused of being a pedophile. Strong evidence came about through the content leaks of his Quora and Pinterest accounts. In any case, Daniel has admitted to being a pedophile multiple times, even going as far as to walk back these admissions, claiming he was manipulated into doing so.

Obsession with Grace VanderWaal

Daniel has an unhealthy obsession with AGT star Grace VanderWaal, and consistently references her in his ramblings and meltdowns, partially due to trolls fueling the fire by pretending to be her or her family. This is despite Grace never interacting with Daniel at all, and in fact, has even denounced him via a message with her mother and Daniel. It should be noted that Daniel's obsession with Grace dates back to her appearance as a 12-year-old on America's Got Talent, which would be when Daniel was already 18 years old. It should be noted that this obsession is not exclusive to Grace, affecting other similar figures such as Darci Lynne, but Grace by far receives the most attention from Daniel.

Rage and Meltdowns

Daniel has repeatedly demonstrated a propensity for volatility and abrupt outbursts of anger. These episodes are often captured on video, usually by Daniel himself, being dubbed "incidents" by the community. His reactions manifest in various forms and come from many triggers. While most of these outbursts are verbal, they occasionally escalate to physical aggression, involving instances where he has struck individuals, including Jonas and Bob Proctor. Daniel also commonly harms himself during these meltdowns, such as repeatedly hitting himself in the face until he begins bleeding.

A rare external video of one of Daniel's meltdowns was uploaded to Reddit on September 30, 2022. The video shows Daniel hitting himself and kicking store windows. The video was supposedly filmed by Brink.

Elder abuse

Daniel has been accused of elder abuse, as he has taken advantage of and even assaulted his mentor and friend Bob Proctor. In one particular instance, Daniel had a meltdown in Bob's car. This would eventually lead to Bob cutting off Daniel by December 2023.

Dine and dash

Daniel blatantly and constantly dine-and-dashes from sit-down restaurants if he is unable (or unwilling) to pay the bill. The amount of times a restaurant has gone after him for doing so are far and few between, which only fuels this behavior further.

Untreated scabies

Daniel had untreated scabies while in Los Angeles, while wearing the same clothes, not taking showers, and sleeping in porta-potties at night. What really made this controversial was the fact that he did not seek treatment for the scabies, and even went to Disneyland with this highly spreadable disease. The symptoms would eventually reach a point to where Daniel was forced to seek medical attention, and the symptoms would die down.

Rejecting help

Although there are people genuinely willing to help improve Daniel's quality of life, he consistently rejects help or takes advantage of it. This is possibly because these people, or organizations, have conditions which would prevent Daniel from continuing his social media career. In many cases, he chooses to spend money from supporters on extravagant hotel rooms, indulgences at Dave and Busters (which he doesn't even eat most of the time) and other non-essentials. As such, Daniel remains homeless and financially unstable.

Tormenting caretakers

Daniel, being a mentally disabled adult without family to take care of him, was moved to group housing services after his grandmother's death. However, there have been multiple instances of Daniel mistreating his caretakers as well as organizations and individuals who have been assigned to help him, leading him to be banned from these services and left without support. This also includes actions done by trolls/weens such as sending sex toys to Daniel's home, which is a direct result of Daniel inadvertently leaking his own location.

Racism

Daniel Larson has shown behavior that would clearly be considered racist. He constantly uses the N-word when in anger, even being dubbed "the tactical slur" by the community as he "deploys" it in distressing situations, such as meltdowns. Additionally, Daniel has shown strong antisemitic tendencies.

Trolls, weens, and manipulation

Trolling. Trolling never changes. The end of the troll happened exactly as we predicted; too many trolls, not enough lolcows or bandwidth.^{[Citation Needed]}

Trolling is a constant element of the internet and is likely to affect almost anyone who uses it. In various ways, trolls provoke reactions from their victims or targets. In Daniel Larson's life trolls play a significant role by either directly or indirectly influencing events. Their reasons for interacting with Daniel vary, from positive intentions like those of Ox, to negative ones like Flexburger, or even extremely negative ones like Quacko. Despite their differing motives, a commonality between trolls is that their actions often harm Daniel.

Manipulation Tactics

Here’s a short list of ways trolls and other Daniel Larson followers are able to get Daniel to do various things, good or bad.

• Catfishing
  • Trolls will imitate celebrities, such as Darci Lynne or Grace VanderWaal, in order to extract information. They will occasionally imitate little girls to catfish Daniel.
  • This strategy is often effective when Daniel is in a 'relationship'; he can be as manipulative as those who deceive him and frequently cheats on his catfishes with other catfishes.
• Managing
  • Trolls often approach Daniel posing as significant figures from record labels or celebrity managers to sign him onto their fictitious labels.
  • These individuals also "directly manage" Daniel, rather than being assigned to him by a "company", typically resulting in stronger control over Daniel.
  • This type of trolling was more prominent in 2021, especially during the Headset Era.
• Saviors/White Knights
  • Various people who want to help Daniel will get in contact with him under the presumption they can “fix” him.
  • If not immediately rejected by Daniel, these individuals typically become frustrated quickly and abandon him, with the notable exception of Ox.
  • White Knights are often found in the comment sections of Daniel's videos. Often times they leave encouraging words.
• Ween-ing
  • Weens will write him in the comments section or gain a short period of contact with Daniel and will either scold him or feed him some random piece of information. This is the most common type of trolling, and as such usually goes nowhere. Sometimes weens are successful as in the case of Goldberg Shacklestein and Cyraxx.

Trolling Tactics

Trolls employ their tactics and strategies to elicit a specific reaction from Daniel, often aiming to provoke his rage. Trolls have distinct approaches to agitate Daniel, often in more subtle or cunning ways.

Calling

Daniel's phone number is easily leaked; in fact, he has inadvertently revealed it himself multiple times. He will often unsuspectingly reveal it to people posing as big companies wanting to sponsor or make a deal with him, and fake Grace Vanderwaal accounts. With no straightforward method to change it, he frequently receives calls from trolls, a situation evident during his live streams—and previously in many of his TikTok videos—where his ringtone and vibrations frequently interrupt the audio.

The trolls who contact him typically harass him by impersonating others and manipulating him into doing harmful activities.

Trolls are also known to contact Daniel via Discord. This is most common when trolls are posing as management.
