r/Daniellarson is the official Reddit of the Daniel Larson community and a primary source of new and old information.

r/Daniellarson was created on Oct 29, 2020 by u/SlimJiMorrison. The community would stay under 100 members until May 2021, when it saw a spike in members, still gaining today.
As of February 2024, the subreddit is at 67k members.[1] It is in the top 2% of subreddits by size.
Daniel’s interactions
Daniel heavily dislikes the subreddit. During the dog arc, when people became concerned for the dog, Daniel tried to reassure everyone, telling his fans not to trust the subreddit, because of trolling. Obviously, since it has been involved in multiple events, or has many posts exposing Daniel’s pedophilia, Daniel perceives the subreddit as the main place where trolls conspire new trolling schemes against him.
Controversy
In September of 2023, a series of screenshots showing inappropriate conversations between the subreddit's Discord moderators and underage users of the Discord were posted to Daniel's thread on the Kiwi Farms.
2024 Temporary Shutdowns
On January 3rd of 2024, the subreddit was temporarily closed allegedly due to a picture being posted on it which was a firearm being pointed towards Daniel, it is not known what the picture actually was but there were claims that it was an Airsoft gun. The subreddit was reopened on January 6th, of 2024 and stricter rules were put into place such as doxing, and stalking. The moderation team stated that they received warnings and restrictions due to the imprudence of the community [2].
On February 25th, 2024, posting was made restricted by SlimJiMorrison initially following a lack of content on the subreddit. The decision came after new content from Daniel was seen as scarce. This was considered to be a controversial decision as other individuals who may have content were unable to post in any way. SlimJim would eventually conclude that the subreddit had gotten another warning and that posts would be manually approved by moderators from there on.
