Clark, also known as Clark & Associates or Griffin, is an alcoholic college dropout, who after getting forcibly removed from his college due to his substance abuse, became one of Daniel's many managers, under th guise of being lawyer for the VanderWaal family. Clark is a self-proclaimed "assistant helper", despite not helping Daniel very much at all. Clark is most notable, and detested for exploiting Daniel's (sometimes, dangerous) delusions of being in contact with Grace VanderWaal and her family via getting his associates to role-play as Grace and other famous people (at one point even getting Daniel to think Grace commit suicide), allegedly gatekeeping content of Daniel, and possibly financially enabling Daniel by supplying him with cash and gift cards.[2]

Clark initially found Daniel during the Las Vegas Arc, to which he then, quote, "played the long game", until he managed to gain the title of Daniel's manager. His firm's name is watermarked on the Folsom County court hearing footage, and several other videos of Daniel that have been shared.

Clark has been involved in many incidents, most notably the Golden Hotel Incident, occurring on December 23rd, 2023, wherein he convinced Daniel that he and Grace had bought a reservation at said hotel. When it was found there was not one, it ultimately resulted in Daniel causing damage to property inside the establishment and screaming profanities at the staff.

Additionally, Clark spread false information of Grace VanderWaal being harassed by police officers, which kicked off the Olive Garden Incident, where Daniel pulled a fire alarm in the aforementioned restaurant, wasting emergency services that could have been utilized elsewhere.

On December 17th, 2023, Clark's identity was exposed by one of Daniel's most infamous managers, Flexburger, after he did an interview with LarsonLeak, a channel Flexburger himself owns. Despite his identity being exposed, Clark still opted to managing Daniel, unlike many others who had quit after having their identities exposed. Clark has been active as Daniel's manager since as early as September 2023, although an exact date is he’s to gauge. According to Clark, his main goal is to "finish this guy off", alluding to potential homicidal intent, or and possibly getting Daniel in either disability housing or prison. Though, this has not happened and currently shows no signs of happening.

Background

Prior to managing Daniel, Clark, quote, "had a decent thing going" for himself when he graduated from high school, but after trying his luck in college, Clark ended up getting expelled within a couple of months of enrolling due to his constant drinking and, quote, "doing a lot of stupid things", although it's unclear as to what this means. After attending rehabilitation for his alcoholism, Clark came to the conclusion that he could redirect his obsession with drinking and, quote, "being a toxic person in reason" by putting all of his time into Daniel. Seeing as Daniel was ripe for exploitation in the lead up to his interactions with him, Clark obtained his number from an unknown individual and started to message him until he gained Daniel's trust.

According to Clark, him and Daniel "understand each other the best" because of their inclination to immature thinking, though this is probably untrue due to Clark being neurotypical and Daniel being extremely mentally ill.

After becoming Daniel's manager, Clark alleged in an interview that they spoke more than 10 hours a week, to a point where it was interfering with his work schedule and relationship with his parents. This got to a point where Clark was reprimanded at his job for speaking to Daniel so much, and so much so that his parents knew who Daniel was after catching Clark talking to Daniel on Thanksgiving Day of all days. This is given the fact that due to Daniel's homelessness and lack of money, he does almost nothing all day.
