Daniel Larson’s family, while most have been identified, are still mostly unknown individually. And only a small amount is actually known of his family. Daniel has shared some information about his family, but not everything, and that leads the internet to find the pieces to the puzzle.
Parents
Elisabeth Shimer
Daniel Larson’s mother is Elisabeth Shimer. Growing up, Daniel’s parents abused and neglected him. Daniel revealed this on TikTok Live, and in comments of posts. His mother’s Facebook is filled with songs and covers, one being about him, a cover of “I Won’t Give Up” By Jason Mraz, featuring her singing over pictures of a younger Daniel. After being taken away from her, Daniel’s Grandmother, Nancy Shimer, moved to Denver from California to care for Daniel. This is when he started going to The Tennyson Center at age 14.
Travis Larson
Daniel Larson’s father is Travis Larson. While many people like to say that it’s alleged, his appearance and last name make it not only possible but extremely likely that he is Daniel’s father. Not much is known about him, but it’s likely he wasn’t the greatest father to Daniel and likely wasn't present. He is aware of Daniel's TikTok popularity, his accusations of pedophilia, and his homelessness. He is said to have his own family now.
Siblings
Daniel may or may not have full siblings, but he does have 2 step-sisters from James' other family. Interestingly, one of his sisters has a child, making Daniel an uncle and James a grandfather.
Tragically, Daniel had two siblings that passed away after birth, Elisabeth making a video singing for them.[1]
Grandparents
Elisabeth Shimer was adopted by Nancy Shimer, making Daniel Larson’s biological grandparents unknown. Daniel’s grandfather is unknown, but Nancy’s friend, Bob Proctor, was like a mentor and father figure for Daniel. Daniel was most happy living with his Grandmother because she genuinely loved and cared for Daniel.
