July 3rd Community Tab Incident

On July 3, 2023, Daniel posted several angry messages on his YouTube community tab, partially caused by an ongoing court case against him.

At first, he made a few posts about a court case which he claimed was copyright-related, but he was likely just lying in an attempt to scare people that were, "...impersonating," his music on Spotify. Immediately after this post, he threatened to, "...fucking bomb they're [Spotify's] fucking headquarters and Sue the living shit out of them." After a few similar posts regarding Spotify, he described an argument with Bob, which he blamed the Denver County Court for, at one point even threatening to bomb a courthouse. After some miscellaneous posts, he declared, "Code fucking death," and claimed, "...the Reddit headquarters I will nuke." It is highly unlikely Daniel has access to nuclear weapons. He also claimed that, "If I get arrested...I want the White House burned down," a very serious threat that could easily get him in trouble with the Secret Service. He then claimed, "This is only the Start of the war," "Daniel Watterson [sic] versus the government 😱." He mentioned his awareness of Chris Chan, then made a few posts venting about his family members. He also claimed, "I will talk to Putin myself," which got over 190 likes, and marked the end of the meltdown.

He presumably went to bed after this incident, as the posts stopped for 15 hours then soon returned to normal, however in one of his posts after this he said, "I have deleted TikTok."

Aftermath

Daniel made several threats during this incident which could get him into legal trouble, especially his apparent threat against the White House. As this incident happened very recently, nothing can be said for sure.
