Lost media refers to media that once existed but has been lost or destroyed or media that has never been released publicly[1]. This article aims to document the following kinds of lost media:

  • Media made by or featuring Daniel which was once publicly available, but has since disappeared or is fragmentary.
  • Media made by or featuring Daniel which is known to exist but which has never been released to the public.
  • Media made by trolls, managers, etc, that Daniel has responded to/acknowledged which was once publicly available on the internet but has since disappeared or is fragmentary.

Daniel's habit of extensively documenting his life seems to have a downside when it comes to preserving his content. His tendency to abandon accounts, device breakage, and getting banned from platforms has resulted in a substantial amount of lost media related to his life and activities. There are multiple types of lost media to consider when talking about Daniel Larson.

Unarchived media

Most of the "lost media" associated with Daniel Larson probably fits this category. Much of Daniel Larson's content isn't necessarily lost; rather, it's inadequately archived and likely lies buried within social media platforms. Alternatively, some fans might have this content stored on their devices without it being shared online. If you think you have a copy of any missing media, consider uploading it to Archive.org (and possibly YouTube) to help preserve a slice of Daniel Larson's history.

Examples

  • Old Daniel videos (especially from 2020/2021)
  • TikTok / YouTube Live stream recordings

Private media

"Private media" refers to media owned by individuals who are intentionally keeping said media private, making it inaccessible to the public. In the context of Daniel Larson, this includes content held by figures like management, encompassing media which was never meant to be seen by the public, such as communications with management or graphic videos meant for Grace.

Examples

Lost media

This media is legitimately lost due to a lack of archiving efforts. Many of Daniel's delusional ramblings on social media are probably lost to time.

Non existent media

There's another category of "lost media" that might never have been recorded in the first place. Despite its non-existence, fans regard it as lost media because it represents a crucial missing piece of a major event or could offer significant insights into a situation.
