”The Daniel Larson Documentary - Part 2” remains Kusari’s most successful upload, becoming his fastest video to hit 100k views and reaching the milestone in just a little over three days. Due to the massive success of Part 1, Part 2 was met with even more anticipation, teasing, and buildup, which led to a live premiere of over 1,100 viewers at its peak. Although many consider Part 2 to be an improvement from Part 1 in terms of Kusari’s narration, pacing, and documentation of events, it has been pretty moderately criticized in the comments section for mispronunciations of certain city names like Wichita and Tuscon, and the frequent usage of flashing lights and strobe effects without an in-video warning. Kusari, however, has since apologized for this in the pinned comment of the video, and added a strobing/flashing lights warning in the description of the video for photosensitive viewers.

Kusari used The Daniel Larson Wiki multiple times in his two videos, and cited it several times as key points of reference. He says that the wiki and the Subreddit are his two primary sources of info for his docuseries, and also noted that Turkey Tom’s video, The Daniel Larson Curator, Papa Gut, PERK 30, and other archive channels and redditors provided valuable info about Daniel and helped him with his research for Part 1.

Since “The Daniel Larson Documentary”, parts one and two, Kusari remains semi-active in the Daniel community, occasionally posting to the Reddit. However, in recent times he has made documentaries on other internet figures like SammyClassicSonicFan and the popular commentary YouTuber Technicals.
