During the BLM protests/riots, Daniel Larson had been manipulated by someone (possibly a manager) or deluded himself into thinking that he was the cause of the riots. He made TikToks mentioning the "Daniel Larson Riots" and telling the public to stop them, as well as a Jumping Jack video about the riots.

On May 2nd, 2023, weens on the r/Daniellarson subreddit started making fake news reports and videos claiming there were protests which eventually led to riots over Daniel Larson, demanding better content and less e-begging from him.[1][2][3] Daniel, surprisingly, did not fall for it.[4]
