The Tennyson Center is a facility for troubled and neglected youth in Denver, Colorado where Daniel Larson formerly attended. There is a video on YouTube from December 2012 produced by a local news agency featuring a 14-year-old Daniel Larson and his grandmother, Nancy Shimer sharing their experience at the center. He was attending the center and living with his grandmother due to being neglected by his parents, especially his mother, Elisabeth Shimer.
