Lootbox Productions was a management group dedicated to helping Daniel, which lasted from January to March of 2022. They were known for trying to assist Daniel with living situations and getting him vital housing, but most prominently to assist Daniel with his mental health and get him vital treatment for his mental illnesses.

Lootbox Productions was known to denounce many trolls and individuals who had wanted to see Daniel suffer, and during their tenure had tried to get Daniel to develop self-awareness. While not many members of this group have been identified, one has been found to be Bianka, who managed Daniel shortly after this.

Beginning

Lootbox Productions had made themselves known on February 1st, 2022, in a post titled "Announcement from the current team". This post explained their place as Daniel's management, as well as what their goal was.

This post detailed their desire to keep "14-year-old trolls" away from Daniel, so Daniel wouldn't be able to be manipulated into things such saying as saying racial slurs, getting naked on TikTok Live, and many other unsavory things. Their main goal was stated to be helping Daniel point himself in the right direction, as well as financially supporting him. Even more, they were stated to be in contact with his case manager at the time, though this claim cannot be substantiated.

As I am sure you are aware, there is a lot of speculation on his current "management". Below is a reply we made to someone making some false claims and assumption about us. Before you jump to conclusions, read our statement below and ask any questions you need:

To start off, we don't support the idea of "managers" which is why we don't refer to ourselves as that. We don't Tell Daniel what to do or post, and we don't get any financial benefit from him like music royalties. The only reason that we do what we do is that if it wasn't us talking to Daniel on a daily basis, some 14-year-old troll would be. They could make Daniel send them all his money and tell him to go live naked saying the n-word. If you have been paying attention to him recently, you would notice that he doesn't go naked on live, say slurs, post racist stuff, etc. because we are guiding him on the right path while keeping trolls away from him. He does say a few interesting things here and there on his own but we don't tell him what to say or do. We give him advice to point him in the right direction but Daniel has power over himself. As for the financial stuff, we don't have control of any of his existing financial accounts such as CashApps or bank accounts. We created one CashApp as a way to allow fans to donate money that would actually benefit him. He doesn't have the best spending habits and either "invests" money into stocks with poor financial knowledge, gambles it away at Black Hawk, or spend it on expensive food such as a $20 burger at an upscale restaurant. With the CashApp that we created, donations will still go to Daniel, but they will be going towards his basic needs first. He gets sent that money to pay for meals, transportation, and any other expenses that are worthy. We make no profits and the only time that money leaves that account is when it its going to Daniel. Our team is not a bunch of 14-year olds who want to use money. Most of us are in our twenties and are only doing this because we care about Daniel's well being. Unfortunately, his support systems such as SSI, his case manager services, and family friends around him do not suit his situation well, which is pretty obvious by the fact that he is homeless and can't afford meals. We are in contact with his case manager and his close family friend and they are aware of what we are doing. Our end goal is to put Daniel in a position where he doesn't have to worry about where the money for his next meal is from, utilize better spending habits, use critical thinking to tell trolls apart from the good people, ensure that he gets a roof over his head, and his safety as the most important thing because trolls could and have convinced him into harming himself. In order to meet those goals, we do plan on helping Daniel establish some more diverse ways of making money such as possibly setting up a merchandise store, other donation apps, stable investments, etc. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them.

In the comments of this post, they respond to a commenter who asks why Lootbox Productions have not done anything to stop his obsession with Grace VanderWaal. They respond by saying that trying to convince Daniel otherwise is futile, as they allegedly got Daniel in contact with one of Grace's family members, to which Daniel never stopped. This never seemed to be their main priority, however, as they were currently aiming to get Daniel into stable housing.

“ He wants a relationship with her. He has been told that it won’t happen and we even had an actual family member of Grace talk to him and explain that there will not be a chance. Unfortunately, this is more than a “crush” and he sees her as his idol. The main priority right now is helping him get into a stable living situation, then we plan to work with his irl team including his therapist to try and move him away from this infatuation. ”

Additionally, the group states that attempted to get Daniel into a homeless shelter. Despite this, they were ultimately unsuccessful as homeless shelters were overcrowded due to the ongoing winter.

“ The homeless shelters are overcrowded for the winter. We advised him to go to one in early January and you could hear from the noise that it was way too crowded. Someone from his life that he knew before TikTok who supports him is the one who drove him back to Black Hawk. Black Hawk is a casino town and we couldn’t find a homeless shelter there. We prefer that he wasn’t in a casino but the the best situation atm because it is warm, they have food, places to sleep, and he doesn’t get kicked out as often as he would at a regular hotel. ”

Many have assumed that Jared took on the role and identity of Lootbox productions, despite the miniscule amount of evidence that suggests this. Around the 18th of February 2022, Lootbox made their final post on the account, telling trolls to stop. While it is unknown as to what Lootbox is doing at this time, the group behind the management had likely dissolved and likely had Jared replace Lootbox as the manager.
