During the BLM protests/riots, Daniel Larson had been manipulated by someone (possibly a manager) or deluded himself into thinking that he was the cause of the riots. He made TikToks mentioning the "Daniel Larson Riots" and telling the public to stop them, as well as a Jumping Jack video about the riots.

On Thursday, April 27th, 2023, the r/SecretDanielLarson subreddit, a private invite only subreddit for serious trolls where organized trolling of Daniel Larson is planned, u/DanielsLarson made a post about continuing the Daniel Larson riots on May 2nd, 2023. Users on the r/Daniellarson subreddit started making fake news reports and videos claiming there were protests which eventually led to riots over Daniel Larson, demanding better content and less e-begging donations to his Cashapp account from him.[1][2][3] Daniel, surprisingly, did not fall for it.[4]
