Colorado Mills Mall Incident

On August 6, 2023, Daniel Larson was kicked out of, and subsequently banned from the Colorado Mills mall. In Daniel's recording of the incident, he can be seen arguing with the security guard about the ban. The security guard cited Daniel frequently sleeping on mall property as the reason for the ban. After being kicked out, Daniel being very upset, he proceeds to list all of the places he is banned from.

After getting kicked out of and leaving the mall, Daniel took to his Youtube to upload a video telling his fans to boycott the Mall. In this video, he says that the security guard was a troll, which was why he was banned. He then again lists the places he is banned from in a very angry and frustrated manner.

First video: [Two mall security employees can be seen approaching Daniel.] Security 1: You're not in any danger, Mr. Larson. I'm asking you to leave Daniel: But I've never been to Outback. Security 1: Let's go. Daniel: So, i have never been to Outback. Security 1: Mr. Larson, please leave. Daniel: But i told you- Security 1: Mr. Larson, please leave. Daniel: I don't have to, because I have never been to Outback. Security 1: Mr. Larson, again, what you don't understand is that this is private property, which is open to the public. I'm asking you to leave. You have to abide by that. Daniel: But what did I do? Security 1: You've been on our property multiple times sleeping, I've told you that once before. We have taken the right to ban you from the property. You can record me all day long, but the fact of the matter is that- Daniel: Okay, but where's the paperwork? [Security swiftly raises his left arm, displaying a sheet of paper, presumably a criminal trespassing notice.] Daniel: Let me see it. Security 1: It literally says that you're banned from the property, indefinitely. [Daniel zooms into the sheet of paper with his cellphone camera, where the viewers can now see, printed in bold letters at the top of the paper: "NOTICE FORBIDDING TRESPASS," and Daniel's full government name written in the form.] Security 1: You can record it all day long. Daniel: Okay, what does it say that I did? Security 1: It literally says that you've been on the property multiple times a day, sleeping on the property. You have recorded yourself on it. We have video of it. Your fans have seen it. Daniel: Okay, it doesn't even say it on there. I just looked at it. Security 1: It does. Please go. Daniel: I just looked at it. It doesn't say Security 1: Can you go please? Can you go? Daniel: No, because i just looked at the paperwork, it doesn't say. Security 1: Please leave the property. Daniel: No! [Security 1 glances over at Security 2, and releases a sigh of disdain] Daniel: Because it doesn't say on the paper. Security 1: Please leave. This is private property. I'm asking you to leave. Daniel: Let me see the paper, because- Security 1: I just showed you the paper. You literally just looked at it like you said, right? Please leave the property. Daniel: Right, but it doesn't say anything. It literally doesn't say. Security 1: Dan- Dani- Daniel. I'm not trying to make this hard for you, okay? But we have the right to ask you to leave this property because it is private. Daniel: Then write on the paper the reason why! Security 1: I- [Security 1 briefly stares at the paper, lost for words.] Daniel: It doesn't say. Security 1: I don't- It doesn't have to. I literally can write this up and give it to you. Daniel: Exactly! so I'm asking for- I'm asking for the paper, because you said you can give it to me. Security 1: Daniel, please. I know you sneak yourself into controversy and all that stuff, but please, just go. Daniel: I asked for the paper, because you said that I- Security 1: I'm not allowed to give you this copy. this is OUR copy. Daniel: Okay, can i get a copy then? Security 1: Absolutely not. Daniel: You just- Okay, but you just said that I could get a copy! Security 1: No, I never said that. [Brief moment of eye contact between the two] Security 1: Please- Daniel: Okay, I'm not leaving! Security 2: We're asking you nicely Mr. Larson. Just please- Daniel: But what did i do? Security 1: You've been on the property multiple times. Again, I'm going to say this real slowly, you've been on our property multiple times sleeping. Daniel: That's not true! Security 1: That is absolutely true. We have it on video footage. Your OWN footage contradicts what you just said. Because you recorded it, and put it on TikTok, AND YouTube. Daniel: That's because I'm just- Security 1: No, No, No, No, This is private property, you need to leave. Daniel: Okay. Security 1: Please. Daniel: But what did i do? Security 1: Trespassing. Because whenever our guys asked you to leave before, you came back. Daniel: Okay, I'm not trespassing Security 1: Yes you are. Daniel: No I'm not! Security 1: Yes you are. Daniel: Okay, then trespass everybody else here! Security 1: They haven't done anything! Daniel: But i haven't done anything either. Security 1: Yes you have. Security 1: Mr. Larson, please head out of the door. Daniel: That's a fake paper. Security 1: No it is not fake. Daniel: Then put on there the reason why I'm being trespassed. Security 1: Please head out of the door. Please. Daniel: I'm not gonna do that. Security 1: [Rolls eyes into back of head, lets out a sigh of disbelief] Daniel: Because the paper doesn't say. [Security 2 steps aside and puts his cellphone to his ear, begins making a phone call] Security 1: Mr. Larson, I'm trying to be as chill as possible. Please head out of the door. Daniel: I'm not gonna do that Security 1: I need you to leave. Daniel: Okay, then where are [sic] the door? Security 1: Right there. [Points to door] Daniel: That door doesn't actually exit, That goes to Target. Security 1: [Points right] Entry #2 is right there. [Points straight ahead] Target is down there. I think you have yourself confused. I need you to leave out the doorway. Daniel: Okay well- Okay then.. Yup. That's entrance #2. You're correct. Security 1: Go out of entrance #2 please. Daniel: Okay, but can I at least get a paper that proves that I cannot come back here? Security #1: This is it! [raises trespassing form] If you want me to make you a copy I will but once you have this copy, you need to leave. Daniel: That's exactly what i said and you said you couldn't do it. [Security 1 hands Security 2 the form, presumably to print a copy, followed by an abrupt 49-second moment of silence between the two, while Lights by Ellie Goulding continues to play in the background] Daniel: And when was the last time that I was at Outback? Security 1: Last week. Daniel: Okay? because I wasn't there last week. Security 1: Yes you were. Daniel: And Outback is also across the street. Security 1: Which is also Colorado Mills property. Everything over there is Colorado Mills property. And whenever our guys asked you to leave and not to return, you came back again and recorded yourself at the other two spots over there, which is Mimi's and On The Border, saying that you need to find a place to sleep. You recorded that yourself. Daniel: I never said that. Security 1: Yes you did. Daniel: Okay, then where's the video? Security 1: You have it. You put it on YouTube, you put it on TikTok. Daniel: I don't have TikTok. Security 1: That's a lie. Please don't lie to me. I'm not lying to you, I'm not under any type of distress, please don't lie to me. Daniel: I'm not lying, I don't have TikTok. Security 1: I know who you are, I've done my research. [Over 9 minutes of silence between the two endure before Security 2 finally arrives with Daniel's request: A copy of his Trespass notice.] Security 1: Okay you have it, can you go out the door now? Daniel: Okay, thank you. [Daniel finally exits Colorado Mills Mall, briefly stopping in his tracks to record the two security officers standing near the exit.] Daniel: So, apparently I'm banned from all the way down.. [sighs] Fuck. I'm banned from this entire fucking thing, For like no reason at all. So I'm banned to... Well, I'm banned for like 3 square miles, because I'm banned from the Carrabba's (Italian Grill).. I'm banned from that second white towers down there [sic], and all the way to the white buildings down there. Holy fuck, so I'm- So I'm banned from those white buildings, to, holy crap, those buildings down there, to as far as I can see down that way, including that dental place i can't go to. Man, what the fuck? So, I can't go to the Olive Garden anymore, I can't go the- So that's Mimi's that they were talking about, that's now closed, they've been closed for about a year now. Can't go to the Chipolte [sic], can't go to the Target, can't even go to the mall, can't go to the Panera, can't go to the First Bank, I can't go to Verizo- What the fuck? Man, they've got this- What the actual eff? And reason for- What is the reason for the trespass that they wrote down? [unrolls his trespass notice] They said I was sleeping on property. Let's see what they actually wrote. [begins reading] Uhm, the date of the trespass is 8/1/23, that's- That's today. And they said i've been trespassed for a long time. Uhm, forbidden to trespass, enter upon lands or buildings of the Colorado Mills. So, anything on this block. One hundred percent everything, including all of those stores on that side, so everything there I'm trespassed from, this entire thing from all the way down there. The movie theater, okay, and then all the way to that white building down there. That might even be their fucking property because they said anything that IS their property. So, who fucking knows what I'm trespassed from. The fashion district... I'm fucking banned from the fucking fashion district? What the actual eff. Okay, anything Colorado Mills, so basically this entire town. Because Colorado Mills is a district in Denver. It's like an entire- its about the size of a fucking town! Because I'm banned from there-- There's Colfax (main street through the Denver metropolitan area)and i'm banned from the car place there, all the way down to the third set of [traffic] lights down there. You can't even see, wow. So I'm banned from the Sprouts (Grocery Store), banned from the King Soopers (Grocery store), the whole food market, the Chase Bank, I'm banned from... Man. And I'm banned- Okay. So, I'm banned from there, all the way- I'm banned all the way down here. I'm banned from the BestBuy, umm. What the actual eff? The reason for- [shows trespass notice] What the actual eff? And they're claiming that i was sleeping on property. which is not true. I was literally sleeping on the fucking sidewalk right here. I wasn't even on the property. second of all, they closed their fucking doors. so after hours, they close their fucking doors, you cant even get in, and yet they were claiming that i was sleeping on property. What the fuck? I'm banned from the Five Guys. Oh my god. Car place, [Nissan Dealership] that's their property, I'm banned all the way- Yup, this is all the Colorado Mills. it's the freeway, so, yup, as far down as the freeway all the way back, uhm, EVERY one of these fucking stores I'm banned from. I'm banned from the Bonefish Grill, uhm, I'm banned from, okay, that is Carraba's. So i cant even- Technically I'm not even supposed to be on this sidewalk. Technically. Because the sidewalk is their property. according to law. so im not even supposed to be on this street. wow. and their excuse is literally, TikTok. the fact i have TikTok. It doesn't even say i committed any crime. Wow. And they didn't even- wow. they didn't even sign it. that's even worse. so its not even legal. wow. that's crazy. It doesn't even have a case number. What the fuck? So technically it doesn't even stand. doesn't even have the director of security, so technically it doesn't even have an ID, so it's not even a legal paper, There's the Panera, banned from the Panera. Somebody must have doxxed me. Wow. I'm banned from the Chick-Fil-A, banned from the Jimmy Johns. So i'm banned all the way from up here... Wow. Damn! And then I'm pretty much blanned [sic], banned all the way to the second hill down there, you cant even see. all the way down the back side of the mall. what the fuck? damn. So, there's nowhere for miles to get lunch. Fuck!
