The account was created by Oxis on August 14, 2022 after fan complaints of Daniel being inactive on TikTok for too long. During a livestream hosted by Ox on the same day on the Daniel Larson new start YouTube channel, a poll was held to let fans decide the name of Daniel's new TikTok, with JehovahWitnessLarson being the winner. At an unspecified later date, Daniel changed the name to @famousdaniellarson. The first video was posted by Daniel to the account on August 16, and the account was active through late September.
