Bodega Incident

On April 5th, a recording of a private Discord call with Daniel, his management, and someone pretending to be Olivia Vanderwaal was uploaded to Reddit by user u/cybercrimer.

The incident

The call took place in a private Discord server called "Daniel Larson HQ", which is the channel his so-called "Managers" and another fake Olivia Vanderwaal use to communicate with Daniel.

In this call, Daniel is seen being kicked out of a Bodega by an employee for recording in the store and causing a disturbance. Daniel claims that he was directed to stay at the establishment by the police who he had previously called, but despite that, the employee tells Daniel to get out and can be seen pushing him out. The camera cuts in and out, but Daniel is seen exiting through the door.

The fake Olivia Vanderwaal encourages Daniel to defend himself, going as far as to say he should spit on the employee. Daniel starts screaming "I CALLED THE F****** POLICE" and that the employee hit him previously multiple times at the employee, who by now is standing at the entrance of the store. Daniel yells, "F*** YOU B**** YOU HIT ME IN THERE SO OF COURSE I AM GOING TO SELF-DEFEND MYSELF.... B****!" at the employee. The employee then starts to call the police, the employee telling that Daniel that he will be arrested.

Daniel, in a fit of rage, proceeds to charge at the man and punches the employee, who in response punched Daniel in the eye and pushed Daniel to the ground. Daniel yells "I HAVE YOU ON FILM" while simultaneously capturing none of the assault. After a couple moments of his camera off, Daniel turns his camera back on and screams that he was injured after being pushed to the ground, and that his knee and eye were bleeding.

The "Managers" and Fake Olivia encourage Daniel to leave the bodega. Daniel refuses to listen to all of their requests for him to leave because he claims he needs to press charges against both the employee and the 5 teenagers who had been following him. The 5 teenagers mentioned have according to Daniel, sent him death threats at multiple locations before showing up at the Bodega he was currently at. The first police call that Daniel made, which had occurred before the assault, was apparently about these 5 teenagers. Daniel also claims he is waiting for paramedics because he has a black eye. A picture of the blackeye is uploaded to Reddit by user u/tawnypunani. Soon after Daniel reveals that he is still waiting for the EMS because he is afraid he may have sustained a concussion during the altercation.

Later, it was reported Daniel had checked out of the hospital. While in the emergency room, he was screened for a concussion, and it was found that he did not sustain one. No serious injuries were reported.

Pre-incident

Before the incident took place, a recording of a couple of teenagers surfaced on the r/Daniellarson subreddit where they chased around Daniel in, what appears to be, the same store seemingly minutes before the Bodega Incident occurred.

The fans asked Daniel a couple of questions, such as if he smoked crack and knew who they were.

Not only that, but Daniel can be seen talking about harassment to the employee he punched in the video, making the previous fan interaction a probable major influence behind Daniel's poor behavior and him being kicked out.

The video itself is also worrying, with Daniel talking about an unspecified "security" force.
