The siege of /r/LasVegas was a community initiated incident where Daniel Larson fans posted pictures of Daniel and the toothbrush incident to the /r/LasVegas subreddit, in response to Daniel going missing. Mods of the subreddit immediately took the posts down, notable users include Mythic_sparrow/Joe_mother124.
Community reaction
Some users were very upset by the raid as it was strictly against Reddit TOS, and had legitimate potential to get /r/DanielLarson permanently banned.[1]
Aftermath
After complaints made by moderators on /r/LasVegas, the Daniel Larson subreddit was privated "until further notice".
