On January 1st, 2024, Daniel had Mountain Dew thrown at him by a group of three trolls. The troll holding the cup asked Daniel how he was doing, to which Daniel did not respond, instead saying that he was charging for photos. Afterward, Mountain Dew was thrown at him, with Daniel attempting to dodge but being ultimately unsuccessful.
