How could they do this to our president?

On September 16, 2023, Daniel was arrested for third degree assault at Folsom Field after striking a security guard after not being let into the field, in the hopes of meeting and joining Coach Deion Sanders on stage.[2][3][4] In reality, a troll was impersonating Deion Sanders, all the while encouraging Daniel to trespass onto the universities property and go into the football facility to meet him. After repeatedly trying to meet with the false coach, Daniel was arrested after striking a coach out of frustration, which eventually led to his eventual arrest.

On September 20, 2023, Reddit user Ok_Lemon_6626 shared that he had sent in an information report regarding Daniel's arrest, and on September 22, 2023, he also released the bodycam footage of it. This was uploaded in parts on his YouTube channel, before eventually being compiled into one large video.[5]

Despite being documented to have assaulted a security guard, Daniel claimed to have been falsely arrested after the security guard (who he assaulted, by the way) called the sheriff after, in Daniel's mind, he did nothing to warrant it. The conclusion of this arrest also brought the end of the College Arc, as Daniel was officially banned from stepping onto the property of CU Boulder.

Background

On September 16th, Daniel was contacted by a troll who pretended to be Deion Sanders, ⁣an American football coach and former player who is also the head football coach for the Colorado Buffaloes. This troll coaxed Daniel into trespassing onto the property of CU Boulder, the university Daniel was under the impression he was attending, specifically its football facility. In these texts, the troll speaking to him antagonizes him several times via calling him out for his racist behavior, as well as claiming that Grace VanderWaal called him a "pussy", right before requesting Daniel to live stream himself being let into Folsom Field.

Daniel went live while he was outside of the field and started complaining to other college students that he was supposed to be on the field with Deion Sanders. He explained that he couldn't pick up said "passes" the night before and therefore security wouldn't let him on the field.[6] Daniel went to his Youtube community tab and started to frantically post things such as, "I'm supposed to have the VIP pass," "I'm going back to the field," and "I got to go to the celebrity entrance."[citation needed]

While the specific details of the incident are unknown, Daniel is known to have live streamed himself requesting access to the football facility, before getting denied. After this, Daniel was reported to have struck a security guard after having a meltdown after being denied access. This would eventually lead to his arrest later in the day. TikTok user angelopira600 captured some videos prior to Daniel's arrest. In the video, Daniel claims to be a student of the campus as he is being escorted out by security.

Post-arrest

On September 18th, 2023, just two days after being arrested, Daniel was been released from jail. Despite this, Daniel did not make a return to social media. When he was spotted after his release, many noticed that he did not have his phone in his hand and did not have his backpack either. This was due to it still being in police custody.

Were you, though?
Daniel soon contradicts himself.

On September 19th, 2023, at approximately 11am MDT, Daniel made his return to social media, for the first time since his arrest, in the form of a YouTube community post claiming he was falsely arrested. It should be noted that while he claims the arrest was unjustified, he later admitted in another community post that he "... hit 2 security guards". This confirmed the rumor that he had assaulted two guards that led to his arrest. On the same day, Daniel also posted a YouTube short, making it his first video appearance since the arrest. In the short he is seemingly calling out Fox News for "... stealing [his] views". This would be the first video he made after his arrest.[7]

Legal Proceedings

September 18th court hearing

At 3:30 P.M EST on September 18th, 2023, Daniel was scheduled for court. Many people searched for a link to watch, but because so many people got on the Colorado Judicial System website it crashed, leading to no livestream of Daniel's court appearance. Someone found a link to a Webex meeting, and many people from the subreddit began to join. Many referred to this as the "Webex Incident" or "September 18th Incident", because the judge eventually had to remove everyone from the live stream due to people joining and drawing explicit photos and threatening to bomb to courthouse.[citation needed]
