Common reasons for a ban
Here's a list of common reasons you (and others) have been banned:
Vandalism
Signing up to start editing the wiki solely to blank pages, vandalize user pages, or type nonsense into articles will result in you being blocked indefinitely from editing on the website.
You're Daniel
While unlikely, it can happen. Likewise, do not vandalize the wiki while impersonating Daniel. Often times, this is so the offending vandal in question can fabricate news about Daniel vandalizing the DL Wiki to make himself look good. The content will be removed, and will result in being blocked from the website.
Spamming
Inserting nonsense or gibberish will result in a block from the website.
Self promotion
If you start advertising your own projects, even if Daniel related, it’ll be deleted and you’ll be subsequently punished for your actions, which will likely be a block.
Harassment
It's not permitted to threaten those you disagree with, such as saying how you're going to dox them, intimidate them, harass them, etc. Often tied with vandalism, namely vandalizing a user page with harassing remarks or insults. If you need to contact a user about an issue, to have it resolved you should direct yourself to the unofficial DL Wiki Discord.
Appealing a ban
If you believe your ban should be lifted, please consult the Wiki Admin, daniellarsonwiki in the unofficial DLW Discord and request an appeal. If they feel that it is worth their time, you'll be let back in. Please note that this purely depends on your ability to explain yourself, and the offense that got you banned in the first place.
