Adding quotes

Hello! Here's how to add quotes to this template:

  • Scroll down to the bottom of the page and look for:
    • <!-- ADD QUOTES ABOVE THIS. AFTER ADDING A NEW QUOTE, SET THE NUMBER AFTER "MOD" TO THE NUMBER OF QUOTES PLUS 1 -->
  • Read this, and put quotes above that using this formatting:
    • | (number) = Quote
    • Remember to keep the indent!
    • Do not repeat numbers!
  • Scroll up to the top and find:
    • {{#switch: {{#expr: {{#time: U}} mod QUOTESNUMBER}}
  • Then change "QUOTESNUMBER" to the highest current quote
    • Your quote will not be displayed if you do not do this

What not to add:

  • Quotes from people besides Daniel
  • Fake quotes
    • While you don't have to cite sources, it is very much recommended
  • Quotes that say slurs at all, even if censored, this is explicitly against the wiki guidelines
  • Remember this is being displayed on the front page when adding quotes
